Shooting Creek Farm Brewery was conceived in the rustic pole barn central to Five Penny farm, an organic vegetable farm and forest of 90 acres nestled in the rustic folds of eastern Floyd County.
Our philosophy of independence, love of good food and drink, and a micro-climate conducive to growing hops, herbs, small fruits, and vegetables foster a natural environment for creating great beer. The abundance of fresh, organic fruits and herbs just outside the brewery doors and in the back fields allows us to use the freshest ingredients in each of our brews.
Growing food and brewing beer on the farm reflects our dedication to using local ingredients whenever possible. We are truly a Farmhouse Brewery, brewing Farmhouse Ales, bringing beer back to the farm and the purest ingredients we can grow.
